AFTER ACTION Screening and Panel Discussion - Sumter
South Carolina ETV and the ETV Endowment of South Carolina invite you to a special community screening of AFTER ACTION, an ETV-produced series featuring conversations with military veterans that reveal what life is like before, during and after action.
The evening begins with a reception at City Centre. Then, we move next door to the Sumter Opera House to watch a portion of the “Glass Ceiling” episode of AFTER ACTION, which reveals the challenges that four female Air Force veterans faced. Discover how they overcame obstacles and used those experiences to help others - and themselves - in their lives after action. South Carolina Public Radio’s Thelisha Eaddy wraps up the evening with a conversation with series host Stacy Pearsall and veterans Bambi Bullard (retired US Marine Corps drill instructor) and Barbara Kucharczyk of Sumter (Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Squadron Commander, US Air Force, Lt. Colonel , retired). We hope you will join us to experience this new national program created right here in South Carolina and to share in a candid discussion about how their military experiences have impacted their lives after action.

Hosted by veteran Stacy Pearsall and co-produced with SCETV, AFTER ACTION highlights the stories of 21 veterans as they share their experiences of training, deployment and, most of all, life "after action." Focusing on shared values such as diversity, strength, commitment, generosity and resilience, AFTER ACTION seeks to demystify the military experience, provide a platform for dialogue among military family members and preserve military stories, many of which have, to date, been left untold. The seven-episode series airs on SCETV on Mondays at 9:00 PM, January 9 through February 20, 2023.
