There’s plenty to enjoy in July…made possible by your support!
Dear Viewers and Listeners:
This month SCETV kicks off a Summer of Adventure, with programming that brings the far reaches of the world right to your door. New series include 10 That Changed America, a look at 10 streets, monuments, modern marvels and homes that have had a lasting impact on our country; Earth’s Natural Wonders and Kingdoms of the Sky, which explore extreme habitats and iconic mountain ranges, and the people who make their homes there; and No Passport Required, a whirlwind tour of America’s rich cultural diversity.
Returning this month is A Capitol Fourth 2018, a national Independence Day tribute, with John Stamos hosting the all-star live gala, complete with fireworks, from the steps of the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Preceding the broadcast is First Baptist Church of Columbia’s Carolina Celebration of Liberty, a patriotic extravaganza that recognizes and honors those who have helped to preserve our freedom.
SC Public Radio again brings listeners the symphonic sounds of the Brevard Music Center’s Summer Music Festival on Open Air Brevard. World-renowned musical artists, faculty and students give world-class performances from the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
There’s plenty to enjoy in July…made possible by your support! Thank you.
