Thank You for Supporting One State, Many Voices
Our hearts are bursting with gratitude because of you.
The ETV Endowment successfully completed the One State, Many Voices: Sharing South Carolina’s Stories campaign. Thanks to you and many other generous donors across the state, we have met our $1.6 million goal. The Endowment’s capacity to support the production of local, original content on South Carolina ETV and South Carolina Public Radio has been doubled! We are excited to celebrate South Carolina’s stories here at home and across the nation. We have you to thank for stepping up and helping us meet that goal.
When we started this campaign, we had a theory – local, original programs matter to you. And we heard loudly and clearly from you that they do! Stories like The Education of Harvey Gantt, South Carolinians in WWII, A Chef’s Life, Walter Edgar’s Journal, Making It Grow, Charlie’s Place, Down on Bull Street and so many more document important, diverse areas of our state’s history, culture and people and foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of South Carolina. Local productions such as these help create conversations about our past, present and future – conversations that engage, connect and educate our communities.
SCETV and SC Public Radio have a rich 60-year legacy as South Carolina’s storyteller and trusted source for entertainment, education, history, culture and news. The ETV Endowment is looking to the future, and we are committed to continuing that rich legacy by providing even more funding for the local programs that we all enjoy, programs that make SCETV and SC Public Radio a treasure for our state.
Thank you again for being a part of this campaign, for amplifying South Carolina’s voice in public media and for continuing your commitment to the ETV Endowment, SCETV and SC Public Radio.
