Inside ETV Endowment

Public Broadcasting Helps Us Better Understand Ourselves and the World

Dear ETV Endowment Member,

One of the most remarkable aspects of public broadcasting is that it covers such a wide range of programming relevant to times in which we live, as well as shows about education, literature, history and so much more. PBS and NPR help us to stay current with the news, learn about new topics and enjoy an entertaining evening after a long workday.

For example, in March and April the latest Ken Burns film sheds new light on Ernest Hemingway’s life and work, while other national content brings us the enjoyment of classical music, delves into the causes of increasing violence in our country and investigates many other important topics.

Public television and radio programming of all genres helps us gain a better understanding of ourselves and the world. Your continuing membership support makes these comprehensive program lineups possible. Please be as generous as you can. We are grateful for everything you do for SCETV and SC Public Radio’s programming.

Sincerely,

Coby Cartrette Hennecy, CPA, CFRE
