Local Spotlight: Wild Wild South
Step into the wild beauty of the South Carolina Lowcountry with filmmaker and producer Hyatt Mamoun. A passionate storyteller and curious explorer, Hyatt brings her camera — and her sense of humor — along for a close-up look at the natural world.
In this four-part mini-series, Hyatt gets hands-on with the unique ecosystems of the Lowcountry, from sandy beaches and salt marshes to barrier islands and maritime forests. Whether she's tracking birds on Pinckney Island, braving a storm on the coast or searching for tiny critters in the forest underbrush, her enthusiasm for the outdoors is as contagious as it is educational.
Wild Wild South offers a fresh, lively perspective on the region's flora and fauna — led by someone who knows that getting muddy is half the fun.
Episode one premieres on SCETV Passport April 22!
