Bringing some of the biggest names in storytelling
Dear Viewers and Listeners:
As summer fades, we are proud to bring some of the biggest names in storytelling to South Carolina ETV and Public Radio this month. Whether you tune in to watch Ken Burns' latest documentary, One Nation, Many Stories, or stream the latest episode of Who What When in your podcast app, we know you value stories and narratives that are immersive, thoughtful and educational.
September brings programming that showcases many perspectives and celebrates cultural heritage. Produced by SCETV, Environmental Justice: 30 Years of Federal Focus examines the state of the environmental justice movement on minority and low-income populations with its premiere on September 15 at 6 p.m. Then, on September 16 at 9 p.m., we celebrate 25 years since America's Test Kitchen debuted on public television, revolutionizing the way America cooks. On September 22 at 6 p.m., we are also proud to present Arriving: Leo Twiggs and His Art, a new documentary about Dr. Leo Twiggs' impact as the most influential black artist in the Southeastern United States.
September 29 at 8:30 p.m. on the South Carolina Channel and at 9 p.m. on ETV-HD, join us to celebrate outstanding individuals and organizations for their remarkable contributions to the Hispanic community and beyond with the 37th Hispanic Heritage Awards. This prestigious event recognizes the impactful achievements that have shaped Hispanic heritage and culture.
SCETV is committed to sharing the stories of our state and beyond. Whether you're finding a new show to listen to or watch, sharing your favorites with friends and family, or making a gift to the ETV Endowment during our fall fundraising drive from August 30 - September 8, you will help ensure we can continue to bring you the highest quality programming year-round. Thank you for your continued support!
